Ingredients:

• 1 cup – split green gram, soaked
• Vegetable oil, for frying
• 2 cups – water
• 1/2 tsp – salt

Method:

  1. Soak green gram, rinse water and pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. Fry green gram on low to medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring continuously.
  3. Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel.
  4. Let it cool and sprinkle salt on the fried green gram.
