Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – tender ladyfingers/okra
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 2 cups – thick curds/yogurt
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a suitable pan and add the mustard seeds.
  2. When they begin to splutter, add the ladyfingers, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and fry till it turns brown.
  3. Remove from heat and cool for some time.
  4. Mix in the curds just before serving with rice or rotis.
