Ingredients:
• Ambe Mohar Rice – 1 Kg
• Green peas – 1/4 kg
• Turmeric – 1 tsp
• Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
• Salt
• Curry leaves – 1 sprig
• Oil
• For masala powder:
• Roast in little oil and dry grind –
• Coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
• Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
• Sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
• Cloves – 5-6
• Cinnamon – 5-6 pieces
Method:
- Heat oil in pressure cooker.
- Add curry leaves, turmeric powder, mustard seeds and fry well.
- Add green peas. Then add cleaned and washed rice.
- Add water in the proportion 1:2.
- Put the ground powder. Add salt and mix well.
- Close the cooker and keep for 2 whistles.
- Heat ghee in a pan and fry some cashew nuts / plums.
- Garnish the rice with cashewnuts/plums, little coconut and coriander leaves. Serve hot.
