Ingredients:
• 1 kg – Mutton
• 5 to 6 – Onions
• 4 to 5 – Green chillies
• 2 inch long – Ginger
• 5 to 6 pods – Garlic
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – chilly powder
• 1 tbsp – Garam Masala
• 2 tbsp – coriander powder
• coriander leaves, handful
• 1 cup – Coconut grated
• 6 to 8 – Cashewnuts
• salt to taste
Method:
- Cook mutton pieces separately in a cooker for 15 – 20 minutes.
- Take a vessel, heat oil and add the ginger – garlic paste. Saute the mixture.
- Add sliced onions and green chillies. Saute well.
- Add all the masala powder and saute.
- Add salt and water as needed and cook for 15 mins.
- Grind coconut and cashew nuts with little water and add this mixture to the pan.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
