Ingredients:
• 3 tsp – Oats
• 1/2 – Red Chilli
• 1 – Green chilli
• 1/2 inch ginger, grated
• Curry leaves
• Coriander leaves
• 1 tsp – oil
• 100 ml – buttermilk
• Salt to taste
• 200 ml – water
• To temper:
• 1/2 tsp – mustard, urad dal, Asafoetida
Method:
- Heat oil, add mustard seeds and allow to splutter.
- Add urad dal, red chillies and asafoetida.
- Add ginger, green chilli and chopped curry leaves.
- Add oats and water.
- Finally add salt and cook till oats are done.
- Turn off the flame. Cool and add buttermilk (or yogurt).
- Serve with moar milagai (dahi mirchi).
