Ingredients:
• 250 gms – Whole Wheat flour
• 1 cup – Mint, finely chopped
• Salt to taste
• Oil for smearing and frying
Method:
- Knead all ingredients with water into a smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and shape them into round balls.
- Roll out each round like a pancake about 6 inches in diameter. Coat the upper surface with a teaspoon of oil. Sprinkle some flour on the surface and fold over into semi circle.
- Spread a little more oil on the upper surface and double fold it lengthwise. Press lightly with fingers.
- Roll it like a swiss roll, keeping the folds on the outer side.
- Press down, so as to form a flattened ball and roll into a square or a round of approximately 7″ dia.
- Shallow fry on a hot griddle, one at a time.
