Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Pineapple juice.
• 1.5 kg – sponge cake.
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice.
• 2 tsp – Corn flour.
• 1.5 cup – sugar.
• 2 Egg yolks.
• 2 tbsp – butter.
• 1 cup – whipped cream.
• 2 tbsp – grated chocolate.
• Pineapple rings.
Method:
- Cut cake into small cubes and place in a serving dish.
- Mix the juices with corn flour and sugar and cook until thick and boiling.
- Remove from heat, cool slightly and beat in egg yolks and butter.
- Pour mixture over cake.
- When absolutely cooled, decorate with cream and grated chocolate.
- Serve chilled.
