
Ingredients:
• 2 cups of Mango puree
• 1/2 cup castor Sugar or to taste
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 tsp Lemon rind
• 1 tsp Lemon juice
• a few Mango slices or Cherries
• pudina leaves – as needed
Method:
- Place sugar and water in a saucepan and stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and cool.
- Mix and stir in sugar syrup, lemon rind and lemon juice.
- Now, place the sorbet into an air-tight container and keep it in the freezer to set.
- Just before serving, transfer the sorbet to the blender and churn a little.
- Now scoop out the sorbet using an ice-cream scooper and serve immediately, garnished with mango slices and mint leaves.
