Ingredients:

• 1.5 cup – rava
• 1 cup – Sugar
• Banana – 1
• 2 tbsp – grated Coconut
• Kesari powder – a pinch
• Oil for frying
• 1/4 tsp – Cardamom powder

Method:

  1. Soak the rawa in water for 1 hour.
  2. Drain the water and put in a mixer.
  3. Add banana, sugar and grated coconut in the mixer along with rava and grind it to a paste.
  4. The ground appam flour should be like dosa flour consistency.
  5. Add cardamom powder, kesar powder to the ground flour and mix well
  6. Heat oil in an appam pan.
  7. When the oil is hot, pour a small ladle of ground flour.
  8. Deep fry the appams and place in a paper towel to drain.
