Ingredients:
• 1.5 cup – rava
• 1 cup – Sugar
• Banana – 1
• 2 tbsp – grated Coconut
• Kesari powder – a pinch
• Oil for frying
• 1/4 tsp – Cardamom powder
Method:
- Soak the rawa in water for 1 hour.
- Drain the water and put in a mixer.
- Add banana, sugar and grated coconut in the mixer along with rava and grind it to a paste.
- The ground appam flour should be like dosa flour consistency.
- Add cardamom powder, kesar powder to the ground flour and mix well
- Heat oil in an appam pan.
- When the oil is hot, pour a small ladle of ground flour.
- Deep fry the appams and place in a paper towel to drain.
