Ingredients:

• 20 – Almonds
• 2 cups – Milk
• 2 tbsp – Raw Rice
• 5 – Cardamom pods
• 2 tsp – Rose syrup
• 1/4 cup – Sugar (you can increase if needed)

Method:

  1. Soak almonds in hot water for an hour.
  2. Soak the raw rice in hot water for half an hour.
  3. Peel the skin of the almonds and grind almonds and raw rice with enough water into a fine paste.
  4. Bring the milk to boil with sugar, add the ground paste and stir continuously for a while (if you don’t stir, the paste will get stuck to the bottom of the pan).
  5. Crush the cardamom pods and add to the hot almond milk.
  6. Switch off the stove, add the rose syrup to the milk, mix and keep aside to let it cool.
  7. You can strain the rose badam milk and serve chilled with ice cubes or you can serve without straining too. Recipe courtesy: Priya Easy N Tasty Recipe
