Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Milk
• Rose syrup, required sweetness
• Falooda sev, a little (readily available in market nowadays)
• Rose flavored jelly cubes, a little
• Vanilla or kulfi ice Cream
• Chopped nuts, a few for garnishing
• Sugar, if required
• Tukmaria seeds (sabja seeds) – soaked in water for 2 hours before preparation
• For making jelly:
• Gelatin or substitute with agar agar
• Water and rose syrup

Method:

  1. For making jelly:
  2. Do this according to the packet instruction.
  3. Set in the fridge and make small cubes.
  4. For making falooda sev:
  5. Cook the sev in boiling water until soft.
  6. Add to the boiling milk.
  7. Add the rose syrup, adjust the sweetness or add some sugar.
  8. Refrigerate for 2 hours before preparation.
  9. For making falooda:
  10. In a tall glass add the sev and rose milk.
  11. Add the jelly cubes to it.
  12. Drain the sabja seeds and add a tbsp to it.
  13. Add a scoop of ice cream and top it with some nuts while serving.
  14. Lovely dessert is ready.
