Ingredients:
• Sweet Potatoes – 1/2 kg
• Cooking oil – to fry
• Salt – to taste
Method:
- Cut sweet potatoes into very thin slices, like finger chips shape, but thinner than finger chips.
- Put in water immediately and wash 3 to 4 times.
- Keep oil in a pan, heat it and make it ready for frying.
- Put one handful of sweet potato and allow it to fry.
- When it turns reddish brown, add one spoon of salt water (to be kept ready ).
- Fry for half a minute more and remove from oil.
- Repeat this process to fry the remaining sweet potatoes.
- When it cools, keep in a airtight container.
- This can last long, up to a week.
