Ingredients:

• Sweet Potatoes – 1/2 kg
• Cooking oil – to fry
• Salt – to taste

Method:

  1. Cut sweet potatoes into very thin slices, like finger chips shape, but thinner than finger chips.
  2. Put in water immediately and wash 3 to 4 times.
  3. Keep oil in a pan, heat it and make it ready for frying.
  4. Put one handful of sweet potato and allow it to fry.
  5. When it turns reddish brown, add one spoon of salt water (to be kept ready ).
  6. Fry for half a minute more and remove from oil.
  7. Repeat this process to fry the remaining sweet potatoes.
  8. When it cools, keep in a airtight container.
  9. This can last long, up to a week.
