Ingredients:

• Potato – 1/2 kg (boiled and peeled)
• Beef – 1/2 kg
• 1 – large Onion finely sliced
• Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
• 4 – Big Tomatoes
• A few Curry leaves
• 1 tbsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• Chilli powder – 1tbsp
• Coriander powder – 1.5 tbsp
• Grated Coconut – 1 cup
• 1.5 cup – water

Method:

  1. Boil potatoes, peel skin and set aside.
  2. Pressure cook beef with finely sliced onion, turmeric powder and chopped tomatoes. Set aside and reserve stock.
  3. In a separate pan, fry sliced onion with curry leaves.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste, some of the stock. Fry well.
  5. Then add chilli powder and coriander powder. Fry till the oil separates.
  6. Add the meats, stock and potatoes. Stir.
  7. Now add the grated coconut and bring to a boil.
  8. When the gravy thickens, take off heat.
  9. Serve hot with rice or rotis.
