Ingredients:
• Soybean – 1 cup, frozen
• Water or Milk – 1/2 cup
• Oil – 1 tbsp
• Mustard Seeds – 1/4 tsp
• Green chillies – 2
• Curry leaves – 5
• Cardamom – 1
• Cinnamon – 1″
• Cloves – 3
• Ginger – 1/2 inch
• Garlic – 1 Clove
• Onion – 1 (medium size), finely chopped
• Capsicum – 1 (medium size), finely chopped
• Tomato – 1 (medium size), finely chopped
• Coriander leaves – One bunch
• salt to taste
Method:
- Put frozen soyabeans in 1/2 cup water or milk.
- Add 1 green chilli and a pinch of salt.
- Cook this in a pressure cooker till the soyabeans become soft.
- After removing from pressure cooker, crush lightly with your fingers.
- Take oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, green chilli and curry leaves.
- Saute for a few minutes.
- Add cardamom, cinnamon, cloves powder, ginger, garlic paste and saute it for few more minutes.
- Add onions and fry till they turn light brown.
- Add capsicum and let it fry for some time.
- Add tomato, close the plate and leave for a few minutes till it becomes soft like puree.
- Add the cooked and crushed soyabean and salt.
- Let it boil for a few minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
