Ingredients:
• 1 tbsp – cooking oil (vegetable/olive/sunflower)
• 4 – medium size Tomatoes
• 1 – large Onion
• 1/4 tsp – mustard
• 1/4 tsp – Jeera
• 1/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – dhania/jeera powder
• frozen peas and Carrots
• salt to taste
Method:
- Finely chop onions.
- Chop tomatoes into small pieces.
- Heat oil on a medium flame and put mustard and jeera and turmeric powder.
- Fry onions till they are golden brown.
- Mix tomatoes, red chilli powder, dhania/jeera powder and peas/carrots and stir.
- Add water (depending on the thickness).
- Add salt to taste.
- Cook for 10 mins.
