
Ingredients:
• Fresh Strawberry – 500 grams
• Water – 100 ml
• Granulated Sugar – 70 grams or to taste
• Lemon Juice – 2 tbsp
• Golden Touch Mise en Place [5 mins]
• Roughly chop the strawberries
• Squeeze the Lemons
Method:
- In a pressure cooker, bring to one whistle the strawberries and water. Allow to cool.
- On low flame cook for about 15 minutes till the strawberry purée thickens to a smooth consistency
- Allow to cool
- Mix in the sugar till it dissolves completely
- Mix in the lemon juice.
- As a spread for Cheese Cake, mixing in cake or could also be used as a spread for Toast, the opportunities are endless
- Makes approximately 300ml of Sauce
