
Ingredients:
• 3 bread slices (shredded)
• 2 tbsp – vermicelli crumbs (vermicelli crushed)
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1 tsp – jeera/cumin powder
• 1 Egg (beaten well with little salt)
• 1 tsp – salt or to taste
• 1 tsp – Lemon juice
• 2 tsp – warm water
• 2 tbsp – refined oil
Method:
- Mix shredded bread slices (trim the edges first) with some salt, chilli powder, jeera powder, garam masala powder, 2 tsp – warm water and lemon juice well.
- Roll them into desired shape.
- Dip this into a beaten egg mixture.
- Then roll them over vermicelli crumbs.
- Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan and shallow-fry the bread-vermicelli rolls on both sides till golden brown.
- Serve this hot with tomato-ketchup.
