Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Maida
• 1 cup – Channa dal
• 1 cup – Wheat flour
• 1/2 cup – Jaggery
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• Oil – for preparing bobbatlu
• 2 tbsps – Oil
Method:
- Soak channa dal for one hour. Then boil in water till it is soft.
- Drain excess water and dry the dal on a cotton cloth for 1 hour.
- Grind the above dal to a fine powder. Keep aside.
- Grind Sugar. Grate or grind jaggery.
- Add sugar, jaggery and cardamom powder in to the channa dal powder and mix well.
- Sieve maida and wheat flour together.
- Add 2 tbsps of oil and mix well .
- Then add enough water and make a soft dough and keep it aside covered with a wet cloth.
- Make lemon-sized balls of the channa dal mixture and keep.
- Take a large lemon-sized dough and stuff one channa dal ball in it.
- Make a paratha of it using dry atta or maida.
- Now shallow fry on a tawa using oil all over the paratha.
- Apply 1 tsp of ghee all over the paratha just before eating.
