Ingredients:

• 1 litre – Milk
• 1/2 cup – basmati Rice
• 1 cup – Sugar

Method:

  1. Caramelise 1 tbsp of sugar in a pressure cooker. Add 1/2 cup of hot water.
  2. Now add the milk and rice.
  3. When the milk starts boiling well, close the cooker and cook for 25 minutes. Allow it to cool.
  4. Add the entire sugar, mix well and keep it covered for another 15 minutes.
