Ingredients:

• 4-5 cubes – cheddar cheese
• 1 – small potato, boiled
• 1 – small Tomato
• 1 tbsp – grated Carrot
• 1 tbsp – grated Cucumber
• 1/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – black pepper powder
• 3-4 tbsp – Yoghurt
• 1-2 tbsp – Butter
• 1 – Onion

Method:

  1. Chop the onion and tomato finely.
  2. Heat butter in a saucepan. Add the onion. Saute until transparent.
  3. Add the tomato. Saute until the oil separates.
  4. Add carrot. Saute for a minute.
  5. Mash the potato and add.
  6. Add red chilli powder and black pepper powder.
  7. Add the cheese cubes. Melt on low flame.
  8. Turn off the gas and add cucumber (this spread thickens once cooled)
  9. Can be used as a sandwich spread or dip. Before using, add some yoghurt to smoothen it.
