Ingredients:

• 500 g – Chicken breast
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli paste
• 1 cup – chopped green Onions
• 1 – capsicum, diced
• 2 tbsp – Honey
• 6 tbsp – Tomato ketchup
• 1 tbsp – soy sauce
• 1 cube – Chicken stock
• For the marinade:
• 2- eggs
• 2 tbsp – Corn flour
• 1 pinch – soda bicarbonate
• 1/2 tsp – white pepper powder
• 1 tsp – salt

Method:

  1. Mix the ingredients for the marinade and marinate the chicken breasts for 2 hours.
  2. Remove each chicken piece and coat with dry corn flour and deep fry till golden brown.
  3. Cut the chicken into 1/2 inch strips (keep warm).
  4. In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup water, chicken stock, honey, tomato ketchup, soy sauce and 1 tbsp corn flour.
  5. In a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and stir fry the red chilli paste for 15 seconds.
  6. Now add onions and capsicum.
  7. Stir fry for 30 seconds.
  8. Add honey mixture and cook till it thickens.
  9. Place the fried chicken on a serving plate.
  10. Pour the hot sauce over it and serve.
