Ingredients:

• 500g- unsalted Butter
• 500g -sugar
• 650g- sieved flour
• 1 tsp -baking powder
• 10 -eggs
• juice from 6 Oranges
• zest of 3 Oranges

Method:

  1. Preheat oven at 170 C. Grease and lightly flour a baking mould. Sift all dry ingredients and keep aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugar well.
  3. Add the eggs one by one, beating well after each addition.
  4. Gradually add flour and beat the mixture.
  5. Add the juice and zest, and beat it well.
  6. Pour it into a greased pan and bake it for 45 minutes. Serve when cake is well-cooled.
