Ingredients:

• 1 – Chicken (cut in big pieces)
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 1 – Onion (chopped)
• 5-6 – Green chillies (cut lengthwise)
• salt to taste
• oil for frying
• For the gravy: 300 g – sour Cream
• Tomato paste

Method:

  1. Marinate the chicken in turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste and salt for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and shallow-fry the chicken pieces to reddish brown colour.
  3. Remove the the chicken pieces from the pan and add onions to the remaining oil. Fry for some time, then add the green chillies.
  4. When the onions turn golden brown, add the sour cream and tomato paste. Mix well.
  5. Add water to dilute the gravy a bit.
  6. When the gravy boils, add the chicken pieces. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes on medium flame.
  7. Serve with paratha.
