
Ingredients:
• 1 – Egg yolk
• 1/4 tsp – salt
• 1/8 tsp – black pepper
• 1/2 tsp – mustard
• 1/2 tsp – Sugar
• 1 cup – salad oil
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
Method:
- Break the yolk in a bowl
- Add salt, pepper, mustard and sugar. Mix it well
- Add salad oil drop by drop, whisking the egg mixture till it thickens
- Gradually add vinegar and mix thoroughly. Instead of lemon juice can add taragon vinegar or cider vinegar
- Can add 1 tbsp ketchup , 2 tbsp chopped olives and 2 tbsp chopped celery
