Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Maida
• 1/2 cup – Butter
• 3/4 cup – Sugar
• 3 tbsp – warm Milk
• 1/2 tsp – baking soda
• 1 tsp – baking powder
• 50 g – toasted, broken cashew
• 1 cup – mashed Banana
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 1/2 tsp – vanilla essence
Method:
- Take a mixing bowl, add all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and mix well.
- Add butter, vanilla essence, powdered sugar and mix well.
- Cream sugar and butter until fluffy
- Peel skin and mash banana well using your hand or grind them to smooth paste.
- Add banana mixture to the butter mixture and mix well with a wooden spoon.
- Add this flour mixture to the butter mixture and fold in the flour.
- Start kneading into dough. Finally add toasted cashew nuts. Add milk if required.
- If the mixture is too sticky add little flour. Knead the dough until smooth.
- Cover the dough with butter paper and keep in the fridge for 30 mins.
- Shape into small balls. Make thick balls, cut it with cookie cutter.
- Preheat oven and bake at 180 degree Centigrade for 12 mins or until lightly browned. Serve.
