
Ingredients:
• 1 bunch – collard greens
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp – Hing
• 1-2 – Green chillies
• 1/4 tsp – Ver (optional)
Method:
- Wash, clean and cut the greens into pieces.
- In the meantime, boil 2-3 cups of water in a pressure cooker.
- Add salt and hing to the boiling water.
- Add the collard greens slowly, stirring at the same time.
- When you see it boiling again, close the lid and pressure cook it till you hear 3-4 whistles (10 mins minimum).
- Remove the lid right away by putting the cooker under running water. Then open the lid and put the cooker back on the flame. Let it come to a boil again.
- Add the green chillies to it.
- Transfer it to a bowl. Sprinkle the ver on it and serve with rice.
