Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Wheat grains
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 – Lemon juice
• 1 – green chilli, slit
• 4 to 5 – Curry leaves
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash and soak wheat grains for 2 hours.
  2. Pressure cook the wheat grains, approx 5-6 whistles.
  3. Grains should be well-cooked.
  4. Drain the excess water from the cooked grains.
  5. Heat oil and add green chilli and curry leaves.
  6. Add the wheat grains.
  7. Add remaining masalas.
  8. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle lemon juice over it and mix it well.
  10. Serve hot with chips or crackers.
