
Ingredients:
• 1 kg – Mutton kidney
• 1 – Onion finely sliced
• 2 – Tomatoes finely chopped
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 cups – water
• 2 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Chop the kidneys into halves. Clean well.
- Pressure cook with 2 cups of water for 45 mins and reserve stock.
- Remove from heat.
- Heat oil in a pan. Toss the pressure-cooked kidneys into it.
- Add chopped onions, tomatoes, chilli powder and turmeric powder. Stir-fry for a few minutes.
- Add 1/4 cup of the reserved stock and simmer till the gravy thickens.
- Sprinkle with salt and mix.
- Serve hot with rice or rotis.
