Ingredients:
• 125 g -unsalted Butter
• 175 g- black treacle
• 175 g -self raising flour
• 175 g -oatmeal
• 125 g -muscavado
• 150 ml- Milk
• 2 tsp- ground Ginger
• 1- medium Egg
Method:
- Preheat oven at 160 degree C. Grease a baking mould. Sieve flour and ginger powder together.
- Heat milk and butter till it has melted.
- Allow mixture to cool.
- Add sugar and egg in the cooled mixture.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Pour into greased cake tin and bake for about 1 hour.
- Allow to cool before serving.
