
Ingredients:
• Milk – 500 ml
• Sugar – 1/2 cup
• Green Cardamom – 5
• Bay Leaves – 2
• Ghee – 4 tbsp
• Saffron – 1 pinch
• Rose water – 6 drops
• Basmati Rice – 1/2 cup
Method:
- Wash the rice, drain and fry in a tbsp of ghee for 2 mins.
- In a deep pan, heat another tbsp of ghee and add the basmati rice, cardamoms, and bay leaves.
- Fry for 5 minutes.
- Add milk and keep stirring.
- Bring to a boil and add sugar.
- Keep stirring until the sugar dissolves in the milk.
- Boil for 2 mins.
- Add saffron and rose water.
- Keep covered for 30 mins.
- Cool and serve.
