Ingredients:

• 6 slices – any good fleshy fish
• 2 tsp – chillies powder
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• salt
• 4 tbsp – oil for frying

Method:

  1. Wash the fish and coat it with the chillies powder, salt and turmeric powder.
  2. Heat oil in a flat pan and shallow fry the pieces about 3 at a time, till nice and brown on both sides.
  3. Serve with bread and chips.
  4. This is also a good accompaniment to pepper water and rice.
