Ingredients:

• 500 g – fish
• 200 g – fresh Coriander leaves
• 5 – Green chillies
• 25 g – Ginger
• 4 – Tomatoes
• 4 Cloves – Garlic
• 2 – onions, chopped fine
• 4 pieces – cinnamon, slightly crushed
• 4 – cloves, slightly crushed
• 5 tsp – oil
• 1 pinch – Turmeric powder
• Salt

Method:

  1. Fry the fish, sprinkled with salt and turmeric powder, for a while.
  2. Grind coriander, garlic, ginger, tomato and chillies into a paste.
  3. In a kadai, heat 4-5 tsp oil, add onion, cinnamon and cloves.
  4. Add ground paste and fry well.
  5. Add 1.5 cups of water and salt to taste. Stir for 2 mins
  6. Now add the fish and cook covered for another 5 mins serve hot
