Ingredients:
• 1 – Small Egg
• 1 – Onion , cut to small pieces
• 1 Tomato, diced about 6 to 7 pieces.
• 1 to 2 tbsp – Milk
• 1 – Green Chilli, finely cut
• 2 tsp : Pepper
• Salt to taste
• 2 tsp : Butter
• 1 tsp : Mustard
• 2 pinches – Asafoetida
• coriander leaves. 5 sprigs cut to small pieces
Method:
- Heat 1 table spoon butter and add the mustard.
- Then add the chillies and quickly add the onions.
- Fry till the onions change colour. Remove from pan and set it aside. After it cools off mix the tomato, salt, pepper, coriander and asafoetida into it.
- Beat the egg into this mixture. Add the milk to make the mixture just ease to flow (not too thick and not too thin).
- Heat pan with 1 table spoon butter till the butter starts to sizzle. Pour the batter, nicely spreading the masala all around the pan. Shake the pan slightly till the omelette leaves the bottom.
- Now the top should be well done to have minimal liquid. Fold the omelette in half and keep gas at minimum for about 1 minute. The omelette is ready and can be transferred to a plate.
- Note : If you want you can also turn the omelette and keep on sim gas till its cooked.
