Ingredients:

• 1 – ear of Corn
• 2-3 – green chillies, chopped
• 1 bunch – coriander leaves, chopped
• 1 – large onion, chopped
• 2 – tomatoes, chopped
• 1 cup – semolina
• 1 cup – hot water
• Salt
• Red Chilli powder – to taste
• 1/2 tsp – Sugar
• 1/4 cup – Green peas
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• A handful – groundnuts, toasted
• Oil

Method:

  1. Cut the corn butta into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, and splutter the mustard seeds.
  3. Then add the onions and green chillies and saute for a few mins.
  4. Add the corn, peas, salt and chilli powder, and saute for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Once they are 3/4th cooked, add in the semolina and sugar. Fry until it browns.
  6. Add the tomatoes and saute for a coupe of mins.
  7. Finally, add hot water and cook till done.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and toasted peanuts. Serve hot.
