Ingredients:

• 1/4 kg – beaten rice, thin variety
• 3 – Tomatoes
• 2 – Onions
• 2 – medium Cucumber
• 1 cup – grated coconut, fresh
• 2 – 3 – Green chillies
• 1 – Raw Mango
• 3 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1 tsp – Sugar
• Salt to taste.
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• Pinch of – Asafoetida
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder

Method:

  1. Finely chop tomatoes, onions, cucumber and green chillies
  2. Grate the raw mango
  3. Add all the ingredients to the poha and mix well.
  4. Heat oil, add mustard seeds, asafoetida and turmeric powder. Add to the mixture and mix well.
  5. Keep this in a closed container for a few mins for best results
