Ingredients:
• 2 cups – fine biscuit crumbs
• 1/4 cup – shortening
• 1/3 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 cup – Raisins
• 1/4 cup – Walnuts
• 2/3 cup – Milk
• 1 Egg
• 1 tsp – baking powder
• 1/4 tsp – salt
• 1 tsp – vanilla essence
Method:
- Cream together shortening, sugar and vanilla essence.
- Add egg yolk and beat well.
- Chop and stir in fruits and nuts.
- Mix in biscuit crumbs, baking powder and salt.
- Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
- Whip egg white until stiff and fold into the mixture.
- Spoon into greased custard cups 2/3 full and bake in mode oven for 25-30 mins.
