Ingredients:
• 10-12 – Karela (Kakarakai) medium size
• 50 gms- roasted gram(putnalu)
• 50 gms- roasted groundnut
• 150 gms- Idly karampodi
• 5 gms- curry leaf Powder
• A pinch – Haldi
• Salt as per taste
• A pinch – Pepper Powder
• Oil to Fry
Method:
- Powder gram and groundnut.
- Add idly karam podi, curry leaf powder.
- Mix all the powders in a plate adding salt and haldi.
- Cut the kakarakai from the middle and slit it.
- Remove seeds and stuff with the prepared powder.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and let it splutter.
- Add the stufffed karela into the pan and deep fry till the karela turns to golden brown colur.
- Enjoy with rice and rasam.
