Ingredients:
• Snake gourd – 1/2
• Moong dal – 1/2 cup
• Urad Dal – 2 tsps
• Red Chillies – 3 to 4
• Coconut, grated – 2 to 3 tsps
• Pepper – 3 to 4
Method:
- Pressure cook snake gourd and moong dal.
- Grind the other ingredients and make it into a fine paste.
- When the vegetable is cooked, transfer it to a pan.
- Add mustard and chilli tadka.
- Add the ground mixture to the cooked vegetable and allow it to cook for five minutes.
- Add salt to this kootu.
- It’s ready to be served with rice.
