
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – white Chole
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1 pinch- soda bi-carbonate
• 1 – Bay Leaf
• 2 cups – water
• 1/4 tsp chilli powder
• 1 tsp – ground coriander
• 1 tsp – aamchoor
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/2 tsp – Channa masala
• 1 pinch – black pepper
• 3 tbsp – oil
Method:
- Soak 1 cup of chole in water overnight.
- Pressure cook chole, salt, soda bi-carbonate, and 1 bay leaf with 2 cups water. Cook till tender.
- Drain the chole and save the water.
- Mix chole with chilli powder, ground coriander, amchur, garam masala, chana masala and black pepper.
- Heat a little oil in a pan and add chole and water, boil.
- When the gravy thickens, add 3 tbsps of oil and stir for a little while. Serve hot.
