Ingredients:
• 4 cups – mamra (puffed rice)
• 1 – Onion (chopped fine)
• 1 – Carrot (grated)
• 1 – Tomato (deseeded and chopped fine)
• 1/4 cup – Pineapple (sliced into thin strips)
• 1/4 cup – Pomegranate seeds
• 4 or 5 – grapes, cut into 4 pieces (seedless variety)
• 1/4 piece – apple, chopped into small cubes
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Green chilli paste
• 1 tbsp – sweet Tamarind date chutney
• 1 tbsp – coriander leaves, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp – roasted Peanuts
• 1 tbsp – Peanut or any vegetable oil
• salt according to taste
• 1 tsp – Lime juice
Method:
- Take the mamra in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 secs on high power (this will help to keep the mamra very crisp).
- In another bowl mix all the remaining ingredients. Mix the mamra with the above mixture.
- Serve immediately.
