Ingredients:

• 4 cups – mamra (puffed rice)
• 1 – Onion (chopped fine)
• 1 – Carrot (grated)
• 1 – Tomato (deseeded and chopped fine)
• 1/4 cup – Pineapple (sliced into thin strips)
• 1/4 cup – Pomegranate seeds
• 4 or 5 – grapes, cut into 4 pieces (seedless variety)
• 1/4 piece – apple, chopped into small cubes
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Green chilli paste
• 1 tbsp – sweet Tamarind date chutney
• 1 tbsp – coriander leaves, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp – roasted Peanuts
• 1 tbsp – Peanut or any vegetable oil
• salt according to taste
• 1 tsp – Lime juice

Method:

  1. Take the mamra in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 secs on high power (this will help to keep the mamra very crisp).
  2. In another bowl mix all the remaining ingredients. Mix the mamra with the above mixture.
  3. Serve immediately.
