Ingredients:

• Peas – 1 cup
• Fried Paneer cubes – 20 pieces
• Tomato puree – 1/2 cup
• Onions, finely chopped – 1/2 cup
• Cilantro, finely chopped – 1 bunch
• Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp –
• Jeera – 1 tsp
• Garam Masala – 1 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Butter / Oil – 1.5 tbsp

Method:

  1. Place a wok on medium hot stove. Add 1 tbsp of butter.
  2. When it is hot enough, add the chopped onions and fry until they turn soft and golden brown in colour.
  3. Then add the tomato puree and mix well.
  4. Add garam masala and chilli powder and mix well.
  5. Then remove the mixture from the stove and let it cool.
  6. Put it in a blender, adding very little water and blend well to get an orange colour gravy.
  7. Now taking the same wok, add a little more butter and jeera.
  8. When jeera turns red, add the gravy and let it boil, then add the peas and paneer cubes and mix well.
  9. Add salt to taste and garnish with cilantro.
  10. Serve hot with any kind of roti or naan.
