Ingredients:
• Peas – 1 cup
• Fried Paneer cubes – 20 pieces
• Tomato puree – 1/2 cup
• Onions, finely chopped – 1/2 cup
• Cilantro, finely chopped – 1 bunch
• Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp –
• Jeera – 1 tsp
• Garam Masala – 1 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Butter / Oil – 1.5 tbsp
Method:
- Place a wok on medium hot stove. Add 1 tbsp of butter.
- When it is hot enough, add the chopped onions and fry until they turn soft and golden brown in colour.
- Then add the tomato puree and mix well.
- Add garam masala and chilli powder and mix well.
- Then remove the mixture from the stove and let it cool.
- Put it in a blender, adding very little water and blend well to get an orange colour gravy.
- Now taking the same wok, add a little more butter and jeera.
- When jeera turns red, add the gravy and let it boil, then add the peas and paneer cubes and mix well.
- Add salt to taste and garnish with cilantro.
- Serve hot with any kind of roti or naan.
