Ingredients:
• 500 Chicken cleaned and cut into medium sized pieces
• 50-100 g – methi/fenugreek leaves finely chopped
• 1-2 tbsp – Ginger finely sliced or ground to a paste
• Oil
• 3 green chillies, finely chopped
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – cumin
Method:
- In a wok, heat oil, add cumin and allow to splutter
- Add ginger and fry for some time.
- Add chopped methi/fenugreek leaves and fry till oil separates.
- Add chicken and fry until water evaporates
- Add chilli powder, turmeric and salt.
- Cook the entire mixture for 10-15 minutes.
- Add water to make gravy and cook until done.
