
Ingredients:
• 10 – baby Potatoes
• 1 tsp – rasam powder
• 3/4 tsp – Tamarind paste
• 2 tsp – Jaggery
• 2 tsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – mustard
• 1/2 tsp -cumin seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Urad Dal seeds
• 1/2 tbsp – red Onions
• 3 sprigs – coriander
• A pinch – Asafoetida and Turmeric
• Salt as per taste.
Method:
- Pressure cook baby potatoes in salt and water on medium heat until well cooked and firm.
- Soak the tamarind in warm water.
- Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan and temper with cumin, turmeric, hing and urad dal.
- Add the cooked potatoes and saute well.
- Add tamarind juice, rasam powder and jaggery.
- Simmer and cook, covered for about 10 mins.
- Saute and add salt as required.
- Garnish with chopped onions, coriander and serve.
