Ingredients:
• 250 g – refined flour/maida
• 250 g – Butter
• 250 g – Sugar
• 4 eggs beaten
• 1 tsp – baking powder
• 2 tsp – vanilla essence
• 1/4 tsp – salt
Method:
- Mix butter, sugar and eggs and beat them well together.
- Sieve the flour with salt and baking powder. Fold into the butter mixture.
- Mix well.
- Then pour into a buttered and floured cake tin.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven for 35-40 mins.
