Ingredients:

• 1 cup – white Chole
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1 pinch- soda bi-carbonate
• 1 – Bay Leaf
• 2 cups – water
• 1/4 tsp chilli powder
• 1 tsp – ground coriander
• 1 tsp – aamchoor
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/2 tsp – Channa masala
• 1 pinch – black pepper
• 3 tbsp – oil

Method:

  1. Soak 1 cup of chole in water overnight.
  2. Pressure cook chole, salt, soda bi-carbonate, and 1 bay leaf with 2 cups water. Cook till tender.
  3. Drain the chole and save the water.
  4. Mix chole with chilli powder, ground coriander, amchur, garam masala, chana masala and black pepper.
  5. Heat a little oil in a pan and add chole and water, boil.
  6. When the gravy thickens, add 3 tbsps of oil and stir for a little while. Serve hot.
