
Ingredients:
• flour (maida) – 2 cups
• Butter – 1/3 cup
• powdered Sugar – 1/4 cup
• baking powder – 2.5 tsp
• Cinnamon powder – 1/4 tsp
• Milk – 1/3 cup
• salt – 1/2 tsp
• To Sprinkle on Top:
• 1 tbsp – Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – Cinnamon powder
Method:
- Beat butter and sugar together till light.
- Combine flour with salt, baking powder and cinnamon powder and stir into the beaten mixture alternately with milk till well blended.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured board to about 1.5 cm thickness.
- Cut with a biscuit cutter and place on a greased baking tray.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on top.
- Bake in a mode oven (180 degrees centigrade) till light brown; about 15-20 minutes.
- Cool and store in an air tight container.
