
Ingredients:
• 2 cup – Rice
• 1 tbsp – Garlic pods, peeled
• 2 – green chillies, slit lengthwise
• 1/2 cup – Coconut gratings
• A sprig – Curry leaves
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• 1 tsp – black gram dal
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seed
• 3/4 tsp – salt
Method:
- Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan and splutter mustard and black gram dal.
- Add curry leaves, slit green chillies and garlic pods and fry till they turn brown.
- Add the leftover rice and 3/4 tsp salt and stir over a slow flame for about 5 mins
- Remove from fire, add the coconut gratings and mix well.
- Serve hot.
