Ingredients:
• 1 cup – gram dal
• 1 cup – cooked Rice
• 2 – Onions finely chopped
• 1 tsp – Cumin seed
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Oil for frying
• For paste:
• 5 – Garlic pods
• 5 – pieces of Ginger
• 5 – Green chillies
• 2 tsp – coriander
Method:
- Make a smooth paste of the cooked rice with ginger, garlic, chillies, cumin seeds and turmeric.
- Mix the paste with gram flour, onion and coriander leaves. Shape into small balls.
- Heat oil on a low flame and deep fry till the bajiyas are golden brown.
- Serve hot with coriander or pudina chutney.
- Garnish with sliced onions.
