Ingredients:

• palada-200g
• Milk -3 liters
• sugar-750g
• cardamom-10
• butter-1 tsp

Method:

  1. Wash palada and soak in boiling water for 20 mins. Drain. Boil 3 litres of milk with half litre water. Add soaked ada into the boiling milk and cook until the ada becomes very soft to touch.
  2. Add 750g sugar and boil the mixture until the colour of milk turns to mild-pink from milk-white.
  3. Remove vessel from fire and add one spoon of cardamom powder (powder 10 cardamom with 10 g sugar). Also add one tsp butter and mix properly.
  4. Your paladaprathaman is ready to serve hot/cold.
