Ingredients:

• 250g – Paneer
• 1.5 cup – Green peas
• 1 – Onion ground
• Small quantity of ginger, ground
• 1 floret – Garlic ground
• 2 – green chillies, chopped fine
• 1 cup – Tomato paste
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• Salt to taste
• Chopped Coriander leaves

Method:

  1. Cut the paneer into cubes and fry the paneer(until it become light brown in colour).
  2. Soak the fried paneer in salted luke warm water for 15-20 mins.
  3. Add peas and salt in pressure cooker for only 1 whistle.
  4. Grind onion, garlic ginger and green chillies in mixie.
  5. Heat oil in heavy pan and add cumin seeds, turmeric powder and coriander powder.
  6. Stir it.
  7. Now add onion, ginger, garlic paste into oil and stir until oil separates.
  8. Add tomato paste in it and stir it.
  9. Add salt, chilli powder in it and stir until oil separates.
  10. Add small quantity of half and half milk.
  11. Add half cooked green peas in gravy.
  12. Add small quantity of water, cover it and boil it.
  13. Add fried paneer cubes in it.
  14. Cover it, turn off the gas and add garam masala.
  15. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
